New episodes of “Culture Vultures” are on their way – and our first one of the year airs today.
Florence & Bettina explore a familiar paradox: Why do we still struggle with difference, even though we know it is everywhere and acceptance and adaptation are essential?
Are differences still unsettling? Do we use them against each other, especially once disagreement arises? Why does “otherness” so quickly turn into judgement or resistance?
We often say “The only constant is change” – the same is true for difference. Perhaps now more than ever.
What about you? How do you respond to difference – in behaviour, appearance, perspectives? Do you embrace it as part of today’s society, or does it sometimes challenge your comfort zone?
